Neighbourhood Bellas Artes
Along with the district Lastarria, Bellas Artes has among its streets and surroundings various possibilities of activities to do both outdoors, and in its theatres, bars, etc.
You can go to Parque Foretal, where you can see every weekend families and groups of friends playing sports, enjoying an outdoor show or just gather to have a good time, especially in the summer season.
In the middle of Parque Forestal is the Museo de Bellas Artes and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, which can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday with different performed exhibits.
Next to the Museo de Bellas Artes is also the Anfiteatro Bellas Artes “Viajeinmóvil”, the first puppet theatre or animated forms of Chile.
The district also concentrates different services, such as restaurants, cafes, clothing and furniture stores, bookstores, hotels, theatres, art academies and many more.
Its most characteristic streets are Mosqueto, José Miguel de la Barra, Ismael Valdés Vergara among others.
How to get there: easy and quick to find, just a few steps from the Metro station Bellas Artes.
